* quotes: on conscious creation

The quotes and paraphrases below are about
how to consciously create desires using the power of thought.

Read through them:
* To see if one happens to give you a better perspective on the subject. I.e., to help get a better understanding in your bones.
* To see that many different people are convinced of this philosophy. I.e., to help convince yourself the underlying message may be true.

What you think about comes about
note: what you think (clearly and constantly with feeling) about comes about.

First within, then without.

Don’t make a case against yourself.

The most important thing is how you feel
note: The internal ‘feeling’ compass will tell you if you are thinking the right thoughts, i.e., thoughts that will lead to your innermost desires.

Three steps to attact desires: identify – attend to – allow

Abraham-Hicks

——————————
For things to change, you must get a feeling picture of what you want them to change to.

We move towards the pictures we constantly hold in our minds.

Jerry Clark

——————————
You can never realize your desires if you do not know positively and in detail what you want and when you want it.

To get what you want is no more mysterious or uncertain than the radio waves all around you. Tune in correctly and you get a perfect result, but to do this, it is, of course, neccesary to know something of your equipment and have a plan of operation.

A positive mental attitude combined with the selection of a specific goal is the starting point to success.

Your world will change whether or not you choose to change it. But you do have the power to choose its direction. You can select your own targets.

All personal achievement starts in the mind of the individual. Your personal achievement starts in your mind. The first step is to know exactly what your problem, goal, or desire is. If you’re not clear about this, then write it down, and rewrite it until the words express precisely what you are after.

Every disadvantage has an equivalent advantage – if you’ll take the trouble to find it. Learn how to do that and you’ll kick the stuffing out of adversity every time.

Aim for the moon. If you miss, you may hit a star.

Fixing a goal may not be easy. But it is worth the effort because as soon as you can name a goal, you can enjoy many advantages. These advantages come almost automatically …
- There is a tendency for you to try to get on the right track and head in the right direction.
- The more you think about your goals, the more enthusiastic you become. And with enthusiasm your desire turns into a burning desire.
- You will become alerted to opportunities as they present themselves in your everyday experiences. Because you know what you want, you are more likely to recognize these opportunities.
- You study, think, and plan with regularity, preferably daily, learning to recognize principles which will help you to achieve your goals and then apply them.- You become motivated to pay the price to achieve your goal.
- You get into action.

W. Clement Stone

——————————
The person with a fixed goal, a clear picture of his desire, or an ideal always before him, causes it, through repetition, to be buried deeply in his subconscious mind and is thus enabled, thanks to its generative and sustaining power, to realize his goal in a minimum of time and with a minimum of physical effort. Just pursue the thought unceasingly. Step by step you will achieve realization, for all your faculties and powers become directed to that end.

When you assume a positive or negative attitude of mind, you get a positive or negative result; there is no such thing as an accident in life-everything happens in direct accordance with the laws of cause and effect.”

Claude Bristol

——————————
Any thought that is passed on to the subconscious often enough and convincingly enough is finally accepted.

Our subconscious minds have no sense of humor, play no jokes and cannot tell the difference between reality and an imagined thought or image. What we continually think about eventually will manifest in our lives.

In every adversity there lies the seed of an equivalent advantage. In every defeat is a lesson showing you how to win the victory next time.

Success is the sum of small efforts – repeated day in and day out.”

Robert Collier

——————————
Fix your attention on the mental image of the thing you want and begin to give thanks that you are getting it.

There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made. And which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.

A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imagined by the thought.

A person can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.

Do not ask why these things are true, nor speculate as to how they can be true. Simply take them on trust.

Wallace D. Wattles

——————————
When the imagination and the will are in conflict, the imagination always wins.

Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.

Emile Coue

——————————
Your mind will create a way, if you let it.

Believe you can succeed and you will.

Never sell yourself short.

The basic, all-important, overriding, critical, absolutely essential secret to more of the good life (health, money, power, fun, respect) is to overcome the negative influence of your friends, co-workers, relatives, and others who come in contact with you.

Dr. David J. Schwartz

——————————
Cherish your visions and your dreams, as they are the children of your soul; the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.

Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
note: conceive, believe, feel, act ‘as if’ … practice these steps to achieve.

Napoleon Hill

——————————
The great need, today, for each and every one of us is to find our purpose. Without it we are as aimless in our journey on the sea of life as a ship without a rudder.

All great accomplishments first happen in the mind of man. Until a man thinks he can do a thing, he is powerless to do it.

“You must be able to feel that you have earned the right to these things you desire; that you deserve to have them-or that you are willing to make the effort necessary for their achievement. If this is your mental attitude toward the things you picture, your Subconcious mind will see to it that you attain them, that circumstances are attracted to you which will enable you to realize your objective in life.

Harold M. Sherman

——————————
You should set goals for yourself that turn you on and make you eager … Have a definite reason.

That is a long-range goal, which is very important–but you should also be setting little short-range goals all the time.

These little goals are fantastic. They’ve helped me a lot. Of course I always said I wanted to be Mr. Universe or Mr. Olympia. but that was long-range thinking. In addition I always had day-to-day goals, which included measurement increases of a quarter of an inch, two or three more repetitions, and five pounds of added weight on the barbell. p. 178

What we pursue, is firstly a sense of what the problem, let alone the solution is to our lack of sensing or lack of happiness. So the first step is to be to know what you sense and then use whatever (little) you know, to move away from the negative, along the pointer to the positive. I have more theory about this: http://www.pmm.nl/philo/philo.htm#I.Sense
